What an amazing time Flights of Foundry was! Fun panels with amazing creative minds, and the opportunity to share and discuss with a vibrant community across the world. I hope you had a grand time too if you went. But now the time has come to talk of other things**. Specifically June, and how to sign up for the splendid things I’m doing then.
This Summer, the Centre for Fantasy and the Fantastic at the University of Glasgow is running their first Fantasy Summer School, Fantastic Texts and Where to Find Them. Over 21st June to 9th July, you can explore key texts across media, from Marjorie Liu and Sana Takeda and N.K. Jemisin, to Ursula Le Guin and J.M. Barrie, in online classes with the Centre’s internationally renowned scholars. The course is fully accredited, meaning current students can gain credits towards their degree. Plus, Summer School students can join me and Oliver K. Langmead for an exclusive creative writing workshop in Fantasy!
For more details and how to sign up between now and 15th May, check out the link below:

In the meantime, here’s a flavour of the course from Dr Dimitra Fimi.
Before that, on Saturday 5th June, you’ll find me at Cymera Festival, where I’ll be chairing the chat between Adrian Tchaikovsky and Cassandra Khaw, ‘Writing Multitudes’. Two fantastically creative writers and splendid humans, this is a sterling opportunity to both explore their amazing worlds and learn where they find their creative headspace. Pick up your tickets at the link below and join us from 3:15pm (BST) on 5th June.

That’s all I have for you right now, but there’ll be more coming when I can talk about it. In the meantime, stay safe, stay curious.
* The Harry Potter crossover we all deserve.
**Not sure about the ceiling wax, but there should be Kings in there.
