COP26 and the Dear Green Bothy Workshop

COP26, the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, kicks off in Glasgow on 31st October. To celebrate this and the Being Human Festival, the University of Glasgow’s College of Arts is hosting The Dear Green Bothy, a series of events on Creative and Critical responses to issues of Climate Change and Sustainability. And I’ll be there co-hosting a writing workshop with Oliver Langmead.

Imagining Ecological Pasts and Futures takes place on 17th November, in association with the Centre for Fantasy and the Fantastic‘s Ecology and Fantasy cluster. Aside from a “series of speed dating presentations” exploring how folklore and the fantastic engage with climate emergencies, Oliver Langmead and I will also be giving a free workshop on worldbuilding and climate change at 20:15.

You’ll need separate (but free) tickets for the presentations and the workshop, but you can pick up both below.

UPDATE: The workshop is now sold out, but if you’d like to be added to the waiting list, please contact Casi Dylan at casi.dylan@glasgow.ac.uk.
